Ive had my new Outback sitting on the cart in teh shed for a couple of months now. Been meaning to sort a storage solution out but just havent gotten around to it. It is actually realy covenient having it sitting on teh cart with the bow supported on an old deck chair as it easy to move around if i need the space for other weekend projects. Does it REALLY damage the hull if stored like this???

Some great ideas there guys, thanks.
Most importantly, confirmation that storing on cart DOES infact warp the hull, that was really what i was after.
Just one question with all the good storage ideas - can you get the kayak up on the wall or ontop of your stands single handedly with out any extra rolling around on the concrete floor of the shed, or does it take some assistance from a second person?

Mine now hangs a good deal lower, which minimises the lift and makes it easy. All I need do is put the straps on while it sits in the cart; lift the front strap onto the hook then the back strap; spin it in the straps and adjust the noodles and its set for next time. If there's a need to do work or access the hatch, I just spin the yak in the straps dow whatever was required then spin it back.

At the moment, the car is not getting put away so the cart is still hanging in the scuppers.
