After a week of nominations, some great and spirited debate, it’s election time. To date the only consensus shining through seems to be that no one yak suits all paddlers, or even no single yak will suit the different trips one fisho wants to do. It’s a 60 Minutes kind of world though, slap bang definitive short answers are the go. So stick ya vote in for â€Å"Yak of the Year 2006â€

Yeah sorry Jake, I had to run two polls. Each member gets to vote only once...choosing a yak from either Part A or Part B (not both). If ya voted in Part A, ya can't vote in Part B and vice versa

The forum technology didn't cater for the number of options people nominated in one one poll. :D

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. Guys, if you want more than 10 alternatives in a poll, you just have to ask. There is no way of restricting someone from voting in both polls and there is no way of knowing what someone voted. The polls also miss quite a few yaks. Have fun
