G'day Al,

Welcome aboard mate. :D As far as I know there are four locals now on the forum, including yourself. :D I live at Torbanlea, Crayman is down your way and Hobie-Wan is in Maryborough, I think.

I mainly fish the Burrum, Toogoom and Lenthall's but am allways up for a fish in the bay. (so is Crayman - Kris) In fact, I am up for a fish anywhere, anytime. so is Kris. :D

What sort of fishing are you into? and what sort of boat? :D :D

G'day al,

Fine little boats mate. There are quiet a few of them around the bay but not many are fishing from them.- yet :D

Try draging a SX40 - blue gill colour round in Toogoom Creek. There are plenty of flathead & bream. Failing that try anchoring up in the rocks near the ramp and float a yabbie out on light line. There are a lot of pickers but some really good bream with them.

It is also a very good little corner out of the wind in a big south easterly.

Mate, if you cant get hold of any SX40s, you might try a mini micro mullet or a deception palemon. All have worked well for me there.

Are you interested in bashin a bass or too :D
