Finally managed to get a few half decent pics of my Swing for yeall to drool over.
Got the 2 trolling rod holders flush mounted in the rear deck facing outwards. Front adjustable rod holder is not used much but can be handy sometimes in the right conditions. It is just a little too far out of reach for a quick strike.
The old home made PVC kart has been refined and works great. Had to strengthen it with Timber inderts inside the PVC uprights to stop it from snapping in half in the soft sand. Obviously fits in the same holes under the yak on dry land.
Rear deck is crossed with bungee cord used to hold down the tackle boxes. Caribeners attached with piano cord hold all the goodies to the yak just in case !!
I use a double rope system from the cleat at the rear of the seat to the back of the yak for anchoring from the rear. Anchor rope itself is not attached to the yak (has a float on the end though just in case). Just hurl her out and clip it on to the anchor springer which runs down the back. To haul it in i just reach around and bring the springer up along side, unclip said anchor rope and drag it in. Similar system on my stink boat works well.
