Ross, you may also have noticed an improvement in performance. The database had grown too large, so Scott has pruned old posts that have not had a reply for a given period. Don't know if he was able to archive them. This will happen from time to time and is really a consequence of the success of the site. Of course, your feedback on this is welcome.
