Specifically, Southern CA..... :D

Hit the pier just before 5AM... Lots of yaks, but bait was hard to make... found four pieces, threw one on, just in case... Trevor, Brad, and I were waiting for grey light in hopes the bait would chew... Trevor's yak was over my line, I hear zz....zzzz I asked if he was crossing my line, he said no... then my reel TOOK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put it in gear, BENDO!!!

41 inch fork, about 25 lbs... Wating for Trevor to bring scale...

Paddled accross the canyon with Brad, didn't really hear of any action, he went around the corner, I stayed inside, as I was debating to go in.... when both of my rods ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!! Bendo...

Got another around 20lbs... Here is the video action when the fish was coloring...

Ran into Joe.. he landed a firecracker...

Video of his landing.... Ignore my comments!

Heard of some action around the corner lots of bait being pushed up on the inside.

Ho Chris!!

Well bloody done mate. :D :D

awsome fish :D and two of them in one day :D

Mate, have you posted some pics of your rigged Tarpon? Looks a great set up. I would really appreciate some shots of the way you have set up your tankwell/milkcrate/rod holders etc. (might give me some ideas)
Excellent efort Chris. Your very lucky to be able to pull that sort of fish so close to shore. Couta, Duran and myself did about 11 klms yesterday out of Kingscliff without getting anything. Hopefully it wont be too long before the off-shore season fires up.
Well done Chris. I must say that I am amazed at the consistency with which you catch Kingsfish. I am not sure you have posted photos infact of anything else (I think  ). Is it intentional or just what happens to come up when you wind em in?

Your yak looks great in black or deep grey by the way.
