That look just like my Q-kayak......infact it's pretty spot on, but it does have some nice extras that I had to fix extra (rod holders and a box) however one thing I notice is a lack of water holes, Mine has holes in the front and rear areas, as well as under the seat, basically so water can escape, if this model is the same dimensions as mine, you will fill those areas with water unless it's dead flat.......apart from that it looks good. I got mine for $950 and here is the link......

Sorry, might just add, it's about 30cm's shorter than mine, but 1cm wider, it appears where the rear box is located that have done away with the in hull storage area, the hatch at the front is near usless unless you want to put your sounder battery and car keys in there.

It is made by Q-Kayak......I've seen one in a local kayak shop here.

Not sure if they are actually made in Australia or not, I didnt think they were?
I thought the Q-Kayak range were made in NZ.

I wasnt overly impressed with it........poorly finished, no storage, very small 3.0m, ugly, and looked like it would be uncomfortable.

Saw one on the water briefly at coffs, the hull shape very much like the explorer, gull wing sort of.

It certainly doesn't do it for me. Remember the problems Russ had with those cayman Toyboys. I think that if you are looking for an entry level yak around that price you cannot go past a Viking Espri. Look at the amount of happy Espri owners on the forum and they are Aussie made, a proven performer with excellent after sales service given by Viking.

My 2 cents worth.
