fished inverloch last saturday with a mate, That is an awesome place to yak, cant wait to spend more time there, but it is very hard on the legs, some of the strongest current ive had to deal with. the fishing was slow at the start the tide was low, we ended up sounding up some bait with some awesome looking marks lurking under them,
we landed a heap of salmon between us up to 50cm, it wasnt a fish a cast but they were solid, all on 4lb which is always good fun, on a sader note my daiwa steez packed up on my first fish
... putting the kayaks on the boat ramp on the high tide was fun, one of the roughest landing ive done, always good when theres a heap of spectators. we spoke to the bloke who runs Rodbendings World at the ramp and he filled us in on where to launch safely and where to get some good fish
all in all a great day in a new area, no records broken but still good fun on light gear.
