Just brought macfish's viking tempo and had some trouble with the sounder not reading bottom. I discovered last night that the transducer had come unstuck from inside the hull. Must of been from all the rough treatment on the trip home.

I've cleaned all the silicon from it now, and wan't to mount it on the outside of the yak.

Can anyone give us some ideas or pic's on doing this thanks.

Congrats noboat on a top pickup. You could always just load a great big blob of silicone inside the hull where the transducer was and stick it down again. Nice and safe in there. Steve.
