Hi Gunston

Mate they look like the go I was contemplating that set up with the Tandem but I decided to wait as I will always have a second pair of hands to help lift the big unit onto the car. In saying that I will definately look at that type of set up when my boys get older and the old man is left to fend for himself.

Yes, I saw them on Ebay. They are based on the ancient design of a catapult, whereby the object is placed in the cradle then launched ...the problem is stopping it from going right over the car..BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Hullavator attaches to any pair of bars. It consists of two gas strut assisted hinging cradles that pivot down to the side of the vehicle. You can load the kayak by lifting one end at a time into the cradles, then tie it on and finally push up into travelling position.
It is a handy device for loading big kayaks on your own
