A bit of chatter amongst the divers around the entrance of Port Phillip bay :D :D :D

"I heard of some divers in the heads seeing massive schools of Snapper entering the bay last week. Rumour has it that two schools of Huge proportions were seen during the one dive. Get ready!"

Maybe there on the tail of the mass of bait schools presently in the bay? Not long to go now :p

I'm getting my replacement nav. light organised in anticipation of the early morning paddles out for the bigger ones. My personal goal this season is 7 kg+ I've saved a bunch of days in leiu from work so I should be able to pick and choose my days during the week.

Awesome Kevin,

I admire your determination, but those early morning 4AM paddles for 5 km's are a killer!!!

It could be said Kevin is a scupper plug short of a full set....no quite literally as I've still got one that belongs to ya in my centre hatch  :D I've got every bit of faith in ya to hook up a 7kg Barry Bump this year, last season just being a warm up up for ya with some great hauls. Any interest in an early season trip down to work alongside the south channel? On the light side, have ya got a link for me to have a butchers at as I need to address yak lighting as well. You've got the drool and high hopes started Milt :D

Swap out those hard bodied thingos and grab some small silver whiting  a couple a hooks and a light sinker and follow Kev as he powers across Port Phillip Bay like a rocket!!!

I need to catch me a big red season opener so i can sleep better again!

Don't know about the rocket bit. But yes I'll be looking forward to some trips out into the depths, may have to add an hour or to to my paddle time on the first trip or two as I'm out of match practice.
