Ahh well, thought i'd whack a pic or two up. The sounder, holder bar will end up being a rhynobar setup as soon as i find the right gear to do it. The small console where the support is mounted to has a plastic backing plate made for it and goes the length of the console to eliminate the "thin spot" worry.

Also i found a plastic box that fits perfectly in the back.
The rear rod holders will be the surface mount rocket launcher style. Like the ones they put outriggers on and swing around.

Yep , i'll do that for sure.

Basically these days I'm selling yaks as a side line with a mate ( he is the boss) , so this wavey is basically a demo.

Ahhh Rat eh, the little bludger will rip ya little toe nail out.

The rod holder and sounder set up will change , ive done em like that to tide me over for a fishing comp later this month. I'm going down the rhynobar path but finding the nylon fittings for the ends seems a bit like looking for hens teeth.
May just have to get them from the U.S

The mount on the center console bit thingy has been drilled as three holed to match the sounders base so it can go there once the bar is done.
Also the GPS can go there as the internal support i made up goes all the way to the floor of the yak, it can sit bellow the sounder.

Looks great Pete - will wait for your report - the only thing that worries me is the depth of the cockpit which looks easy to get into but if you have knee problems may be hard to get out of - especially after a 2+hr paddle :?:

Peter she looks really good mate and the setup is ideal.

Richard there is no question exiting from these style of yaks is different, [and swing is my example here which appears similar to kingfisher], by leaving from a side saddle position the boat heels nicely to exit in shin-knee deep water, also good to enter that way I find

Milansek , the hatches are one of the best features on it i reckon. It would be great to be able to get a swag in there but i think they are slightly to large for that (swag that is).
But i have no dought that a tent and sleeping bag would go in . I still need to work a way of putting a waterproof bag into the middle hatch to put fish in when caught.
I have also rigged the box in the back and it holds everything the big crate did anyway on the espri.

Hi Pete, looks good. Im hopefully getting one exactly the same over the weekend. Noticed you didnt go for any flush mount holders, any reason why not? How big is that box in the well?
