Hi All,
My first outing in the yak was on Saturday down at Garden Island Pt Adel, I can only say WHAT GREAT FUN IT WAS :D. (although I did not get any fish) I did not think a yak could be so stable but to my suprise it was very stable even when crossing a wake from a larger boat or fumbling for gear. I have also discovered mussles I didn't know I had but with time that will improve (I am a little sore totay). Sorry no pics of the yak fully set up as yet but i will post 1 soon.

All in all I had a great time and it can only get better as my yakking skills improve.

I should have got one years ago.

Happy Yakking

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.
