Decided to take the boat out this morning for a run in the Logan River. Didn't get on the water until about 9:15. Just in time for the run in tide. Shouldn't have bothered there was nothing about. I got two small flatties, on SP's and two bream on yabbies and my first ever bream on a hardbody :) . Decided to troll the sx-48 back to the ramp and picked him up on the home stretch.

Was a very windy day on the water and very hot also. Got some monster size mullet in the castnet, some hit 12 inches, kept them for crabpot bait. Got one small buck and a jenny, both thrown back of course. Weed was a problem also, bloody everywhere it was.

I was supposed to catch a feed of fish for the boss  now he says I can't have any more week days off because I didn't bring him any fish.

Pics of bream on HB will come later when I go to the car and download them.

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.
