WOW--I ventured into the new Sydney Anaconda store today and it is bloody brilliant !
I can now see why all you inter-state guys rave about the place !The only problem is , there appears to be some kind of time warp that goes on when you walk thru the doors. :shock: I got there at 10.00am and thought I was in and out in about 40 mins -I looked at my watch and it was 1.00PM !!! So please take this as a warning when you tell your missus ya just ducking out for an hour !!!

I hear what you're saying. I am fortunate in that I my girlfriend loves the place almost as much as me. About the only time she would get cranky about me going ot Anaconda for 3 hours is if I didn't take her along.

Me: (looks at watch 10.45am) Darline I'm just popping out to the tackle shop for ten Min's.
Wife: (looks at clock) well I'm putting dinner out at 3.00pm, be back for then.
Me: of course I'm just popping in and out
wife: :roll:

3 hours later

Wife: So what did you get?
Me: nothing i was just looking around and talking to the guys.
Wife: :roll:

Why dont you get a job there. That way you get payed to be there and you can stay for up to 8 hours a day.

Late night shopping is the time to go as the ladies don't see what you bring home, as long as you don't look guilty when you go inside and they start to question you...then its straight lies and hope the nose doesn't grow
