G'day All,

I came across an idea for a paddle holder over the long weekend if your yak has handles on the side. (not sure if this has been mentioned before)

Simply use a velcro rod tie (the type you use to to tie rods together on a roof rack etc) place it under the handle on the side of your yak & secure the paddle with it.

I used it on the Cobra exploer on the weekend & it worked a treat. Very secure & very easy & quick to get the paddle in / out.

Most important for me was no drilling was required.

Cheers

Brilliant but simple idea, I haven't seen this suggestion before. I will definitely make use of it, I have been throwing the paddle over the side with a leash but it keeps hitting the side of the yak, quite annoying.
