I regularly go yakking with 2 other mates and we thought about getting a shark shield to share. The question is how easy is it to unplug from one yak and plug into another?

well if we are all out together and see a shark we will bring the yaks close together.

You'll need to get some straws of varying lengths to work out who carries it each trip :)

I've taken a friend out snapper fishing at anchor at night a few times and we rafted up with the one SS between us. Rafting was a bit frustrating, a lot of repeated bumps and swinging around on the anchor rope.

There's no plugging involved, just a Velcro strap.
how about wiring? Is it an fully contained unit inc battery or does it need to be hooked up like a sounder?
