I regularly go yakking with 2 other mates and we thought about getting a shark shield to share. The question is how easy is it to unplug from one yak and plug into another?

There's no plugging involved, just a Velcro strap.

I don't get how you are going to share.
Do you go out by yourself and take it for that day or all go out together and pass it to the guy getting sharked?

well if we are all out together and see a shark we will bring the yaks close together.

You'll need to get some straws of varying lengths to work out who carries it each trip

I've taken a friend out snapper fishing at anchor at night a few times and we rafted up with the one SS between us. Rafting was a bit frustrating, a lot of repeated bumps and swinging around on the anchor rope.
