Hi all, especially JD, who asked for a report. on the Scarborough trip.

The highlight of this report, is that it is the second attempt, I did one yesterday, but accidentally closed it when I was messing with some photos.
I met up with Louise and Leigh in the car park a bit before 0500, and we were on the water at the appointed time. Louise was using the Olymp SIK that I have had for a couple of months, but never got wet. Leigh using my old Roscoe TK1. If I get the photos done this time you will see that the waves were mountainous....... well not very big......actually more like a pancake.

On to the fishing......nowt. absolutely nowt. Didn't even get a hit. Used big HBs and tiny sx40, rapalas, mad ratz and all.... nothing. Paddled through a couple of bait balls, but it must have been me they were trying to get away from. The girls were over the moon with the paddling, and I am in the process of luring Louis to the very dark side, i.e. Joining the forum, and getting an SOT. She is one of the lucky ones, who (When she gets her yak, )can wheel it to local Deception Bay, and mangroves...Loves her fishing.

Geez, I am a low life, opportunistic bastard arn't I? Funny thing is, she thought she got the better deal! I suppose women are like that though!

also note your mention of the huge seas! Im surprised you didn't all get seasick in those bumpy conditions! :wink:

nice pic of you on board the Tempo by the way Andy.. The yak looks like some sort of floating Echidna with all those spikes (rods) poking up.
