After the previous nights poor effort we got up at 5 and headed out to Scarborough. Wind was blowing so there was a bit of chop and cloud cover so conditions looked good. Drifting up and down over the gravel banks with placcies and bait and all we got were a couple of little Squire.

Once again, no fish for me!

I know how you feel Gavin, after my last couple of trips I am thinking I have upset the big guy somehow. Either that or I just can't fish for shi...... :lol:

I was saying to my mate on the way out, "if I don't catch a fish today, I'm revoking my title of 'fisherman' to 'attempted fisherman'." So when I caught my first pinky I rejoiced with a "Yay! I'm still a fisherman!" hehe

Yeah, conditions weren't comfortable. Then again, I've been out in far worse.

Yes, I went back out again, only for about 20 minutes though....not even a scale. I did not even see a fish, the whole trip.
