Correct, an unusual subject heading. :roll:
But I was out off Eden yesterday in 20 knot and gusting winds with my new fish friendly fishing net sitting in the front rod holder.(Nothing unusual I here you say)
Then I saw a large wind gust heading my way via the dark ripples on the water. Holy %#[email protected] I said and quickly turned the FnD to face west. Next thing I know the wind catches in the fish net and it blows out like a wind sock and I start screaming into shore at a great rate of knots.
I also was assisted with chop and swell.
Do you guys drop your fish nets down on windy days?

Thanks for the warning.....and you name, is that just coincidence? :lol:

I am planning on mounting my net sticking up, so i guess it could catch the wind too, I will be mindful, thanks!
