Did my once a year trip to SA's mid north river the Broughton, with a good mate.
The Broughton is about a 2 hour drive from Adelaide so we always try to make it worth while, thus we normally go for a full day. This was Mike's and my 4th trip their and probably or best. Conditions were perfect, so we were hoping to play with some good fish. As it turned out, i smashed my old PB Brown Trout, to a respectable 55cm one and Mike landed his 1st Murray Cod from the Broughton, plus we both got a small rainbow.
Brilliant team effort with heaps of banter, sh#t stirring and encouragement / praise, all up a awesome day with a great mate

We also each got a small Rainbow.

We also saw some monster Rainbows that were 50cm plus and had around another 4 hits / taps each but unfortunately we didn't hook up.
