Fellow kayakers,

Name's Neil and after many years of wanting, and selling my tinnie 12 months ago when moving from the East coast (The Gong) I finally got myself a yak for fishing. Picked up myself a Hobie Revolution 13 last week. Took it out last weekend and quickly wondered why i did not bight the bullet earlier.
Loads of great info here, that already helped with my decision and now looking forward to learning more and getting stuck into it Hopefully increasing my seafood consumption as well.

Also looking forward to sharing stories and catching up with people around the traps.

Good choice of yak. I used to have one but now have a Malibu. Let me know if you want to go for a fish one day. I've caught a few snaps around the Black Point area.

Now it is a waiting game to line up a day off and some semi decent weather. Lewie, looking at getting into some nice reds. Where is the best place to launch for Black Point?
