Fellow kayakers,

Name's Neil and after many years of wanting, and selling my tinnie 12 months ago when moving from the East coast (The Gong) I finally got myself a yak for fishing. Picked up myself a Hobie Revolution 13 last week. Took it out last weekend and quickly wondered why i did not bight the bullet earlier.
Loads of great info here, that already helped with my decision and now looking forward to learning more and getting stuck into it :D Hopefully increasing my seafood consumption as well.

Also looking forward to sharing stories and catching up with people around the traps.

Thanks for the welcomes.

Now it is a waiting game to line up a day off and some semi decent weather. Lewie, looking at getting into some nice reds. Where is the best place to launch for Black Point?

Welcome Neil - there are a growing number of Whyalla based AKFF members - and some wonderful coast to explore too. Look forward to some trip reports.
