Needing to carry 2 kayaks, total weight near 60kg, on a car without rain gutters, I need to have track mounted racks installed. Due to total width of kayaks flat together (although probably end up on holders), went for the wider bars and for the weight. They are Rhino tradesman bars - $470 installed. Ouch.
