Had another session at the woody point reefs in the kayak this morning. Got there a bit late around 6.
Fished around there for 3-4hrs for just one flathead caught by my dad and a few missed hits. Fishing was very slow.
Decided to head back and to get something to eat and then head to the Canals at Scarborough.

Had a quick session in the Canals for just one bream at 26cm caught be me. After the bream was caught we decided to call it a day.
It was a bit windy in the canals and proved hard to keep the yak in position when casting at the pontoons.
The Flathead was caught on bait.. cant remember what exactly and the Bream was Caught on SP. Both fish were released

Cheers

Looks like a nice day out anyhow. Have had many trips and caught less. My last trip didn't even get the yak wet...... just sandy, and the camera stayed bagged up! A Fish each is ok....every now and then anyway. Better luck next time.

Cheers Andybear

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish.
