If you make (for instance) Moreton Bay a marine park - it will only put more pressure on other areas like the sunshine coast - this is just stuipd politics...... weaps :(

How much money would you like to bet the next one will be about marine parks ?.
Matt I subscribe [free] and the newsletter comes to my inbox every two months, and marine parks have already been in articles before in earlier issues.

I get it to stay abreast of new Qld regulations and proposals like the above stuff

QUEENSLAND KAYAK ANGLERS:

This is your opportunity to work out what you want as a collective group.

I urge you to contact each other ASAP and decide on a suitable vision for Yak anglers in your state. Whatever you do, you will always hold political weight if you work toward a central vision and are willing to compromise as a group.

This is an opportunity to grab your piece of the QLD pie. If you don't you'll end up pissed off and angry like I am here in Byron.

If you are practical in your demands and remain totally professional under pressure, your chances will improve. Ultimately, you want a sustainable and yak friendly fishery - Step up, speak up and most importantly, share a vision.

Never forget - Recreational anglers are in the firing line and you have a right to fish.
