I shopped around today for a Prowler 13 Angler with rudder, the best price I could get was 1500.

Is this a good price?

Or should I be getting a better deal?

When comparing prices with the various akffers, remember to allow the freight will affect quotes in different locations around the coumtry.

Its the old compare apples with apples thing :wink:

Anaconda recently had 20% off everything for the Ekka holiday. It brought the P13 with rudder to under $1300. Unfortunately it was a one off sale day...

...and it was just 10 days after I bought my rudderless P13...d'oh

It looks like you mainland guys have some decent sized shops with a good range of stock. Down here in Tassie there's not much to look at, especially at this time of year. I had to order one through the local dealer. Waiting for it to arrive was agony. :roll:

The Anaconda store in Brisbane doesn't even have any rudder optioned ones in stock.

So if you did happened to have walked in there last week on their 20 percent off sale you would have been out of luck.

I saw on the net last night Jervis bay kayaks have the angler version with rudder for 1599.

A great price all I need to do is get them to quote a price freighted to Brisbane waltz in to Anaconda and get another 10 percent off with their price guarantee.

I might try that when I have the cash
