Well the wifey and I had our first crack at Lake Mac prior to the Hobie Bass Bash.......Mal "kinda" showed us around.... I must say that the southern lures and softies I use at home did stuff all......so, back on the water to see what another range of lures (or to pitch Mal's while he's not looking)..........will do.

For the record, Mal 6, Hobie Aus ZIP today.

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

Steve, what depth was Sun Hobie getting them at? If they were a bit shutdown maybe drop-shotting might be worth considering. As Fishing Man said a slowly rolled spinnerbait might also be worth considering. What were the successful lures on the day for Sun Hobie?
