Friday - Opened the account yesterday morning with 3 other yaks along for the ride. Brother in law Chris, 5/11 and friend Steve. The 4 of us set out from Mornington to Shark Park in a flat sea and light offshore breeze. The fish were a little light on, I kept 2 pinkies at 32cm and 34cm and set free 4 smaller. There was the odd red mullet and couta too. 5/11 also had a couple keepers and may add to this post.

My pinkie score 66cm, released??????

Saturday - Launched at Mornington Shark Park again 4:30 am with BIL Chris. Chriss kept 6 pinkies 30 to 35cm, 1 flathead 30cm and a pinkie at 42cm. I took 2 pinkies, 1 at 45cm and 1 at 41cm and threw a few back as well as couta and flatties.

Revised pinkie score 152cm, released????????????

Very tired now....must slee....p.......

Cheers

Scott

Was a nice morning that, and I'll be back for sure (Monday morning in fact). I did only manage 1 keeper on Friday and I very nearly put it back (only just legal) but decided to keep it only because I'm sick of eating salmon. It was my first time in shark park, but it had the right feel about it, so I've added it to my list of worthy PPB spots. Thanks for showing me the ropes there HV. I'll seeya there Monday morning if you decide to head out again.

Hobie Vic, you got some nice sized fish there. Sounds like a nice day but the starts, 4:30 am would be too early for me!

When you say
My pinkie score 66cm, released??????
does that mean the biggest one you released?

Heh Hoit... that's why he sneaks out at 4:30 AM and crawls back into bed at 8AM. Just like nothing ever happened. I reckon he should change his nickname to the 'Shadow' :)

Take notes guys. Its all about quality time on the water and manouvering around "the forces of no fun".

5/11 I'll be there Monday am too.

Smurf, happy to help pop your yak's cherry.

Cheers
