Hello All
Strictly speaking we were fishing from the shore, would have been from yaks, but the in-laws decided the weather wouldn’t be good enough, so left their yak home in Vic………………what can you do?
Took my nephew down to the Birkenhead tavern car park to fish the shallows there on a rising tide before and after first light.
Things were a bit slow on the bait so I whacked on an sx40 and sixth cast landed a 39cm bream, not bad from the shore. Was a good morning landing probably landing 40 fish between us with about 5 in the 30’s.
Was my nephews first bream fishing experience (lives in inland Vic) and he had a ball, pity it wasn’t from a yak
