Iv'e been playing with the "milk crate" set up lately . Because of the rounded rear hatch area i had to chop some of the crate away a touch but it fits fine now .
The tackle rollout bag is a wonderfull thing ,very glad i got it although still have not settled on the permanent rod holders yet.

Those phone peashes have been given the lemon and sars, tangles galore :D

Good work Peter i like the idea of a crate for storage i cant wait myself
to get a sot .You would think that the kayak companys would make a
crate to fit different Yaks.

Just the occy straps holding it down, luckily the eyes for the grab rope are in the right spot.

I did talk to the people from Viking direct last week and told them about the need for either a square sided well or a combination ,tackle box/ esky to clip in the rear.
Cos basically viking only have one "fishing" yak the BIG tempo. The espri can be a korker with a few things tastefully and thoughtfully done to it. I,m working on a rear tackle box in glass at the moment ,will take ages though as i have to set the thing up to fish in now as well.
