From my trip I scored a number of PB's but I was wondering about the integrity of them.

Can I count a PB caught from a beach not on a yak, but it is somewhere that I have accessed by my yak that I could not have fished if I didn't have it. Would that still be classified as a PB for my yak fishing exploits?

Or do I have to be physically fishing from my yak to count them. Acutally I was sitting on the front of the yak whilst fishing anyway, so technically speaking I was fishing from a yak, just because it wasn't floating in water is a minor detail.

Your thoughts.

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. Heya Wayne :)

Mate, I reckon if your yak fishing, in or out of the yak, she counts.

I vote yes :)
Yep, so do I,

i often work the flats after using my yak to get up into the skinny water
Yes if you accessed the area as part of a kayak fishing trip
Yes, as it is part of the routine, to hit shore every now and then to stretch legs, and while you are upright you sometimes need to cast just to unpinch the little muscle just behind the little muscle on top of the one it is behind the front of....

Having cleared that bit of anatomical nonsense, if you catch a big fish during this essential therapy, it must count as a PB IMHO

Cheers all Andybear
That's what I figured. So I'll amend my profile to include my new PB's.
