Gday All,
After a late start i missed most of the run in bugger.
Just on the ebb picked up a 30cm flatty and he promised me if i let him go he would get his older brother to hook up. Never trust a teenage flathead :D
Other than the flatty had a good hit on a gulp 50mm baby shrimp that went for a big run but some boof head had his drag set to low and couldn't set the hook before he spat it.
After last weeks prob's the yak is back fighting fit, not a drop of water inside her today and the fish finder is now working a treat.
Couple of spot were there was lots of fish underneath just couldn't get them to bight. Gotta fish the run in in patonga.

My mate and his tinne didn't show reckoned the weather would be bad more fool him.

Cheers Dave

Dave

Would love to fish Patonga with you in new year sometime :D

I regularly travel down to Davistown or Forresters to see my kids. Weekends or Mondays are best days for me.

Will try and organise.

A flattie and a run is not such a bad result. Its the being out there that's the winner.
