Hi all,
I am interested to know if any members have fitted outriggers to their yaks?
I am looking at a single sided one, right hand side, to help support the weight of a small outboard. (15kg)
Some time ago a picture was posted of couple of blokes with a similar set up on a river in Northern Australia, but I am unable to locate it again???

Hi Googling kayak outriggers will get you plenty of info

I think the guys here used either flush mounts or scotty style holders with the poles attached there either plastic pipe or aluminium with the infaltable yacht fenders on the end. Hope this helps
