Hi all ive not been around lately the reason being we just bought a house on the gold coast in Helensvale.
So if anyone knows of any good spots i can hit please let me know.
We move up there on the 20th Dec.
Oh and my yak as been paid off.........i feel a trade coming on :twisted:

nerang river,pimpama river,coomera river,hinze dam.the nerang and coomera should only be about 20mins from home for you now the pimpama a bit longer but because its shallower the boats dont get too far up there and you used to get good flathead and jacks in the upper reaches

Plenty of spots right on your doorstep and Palm Beach is only 25 mins away. Hope your move goes well.

Well done on the purchase mate, fairly central from there for most of the coast fishing, in summer be wary on evening though, as it can be a bit prone to mozzies from Coombabah Lakes but only an hour or thereabouts
