OCTOBER AKFF Fishing Comp period STARTS THIS SUNDAY 1st October and ENDS Saturday 7th October.

Entries must be submitted by Monday 9th October at 9am and winners will be announced at that time.

For competition rules etc see http://www.akff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2952

Entries only should be posted in this thread (please refrain from posting messages that aren't comp entries in this thread until after the winners have been announced).

Individual POINTSCORE will continue this month, with the top 5 or 10 anglers (depending on number of entries received) scoring points towards the end of year tally.

In conjunction, we will also continue our STATE vs STATE rivalry with points also being awarded to the best performed states. Should any of our international members wish to participate they will also be considered in the individual and the interstate/country rivalry.

Thanks and Good Luck....

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

Hey Davey

You guys have got snapper over there. My brother has been getting bag limits land basing. sent a pic over last week with him holding up a 13.2lb and a 15.5lb. What are you guys pissing around at. Now He's gone and bought a FnD yak. He got sick of me sending pics of bigger snapper.

Well done Nubee and congrats to all those that got points

Top stuff all on this months catch -weather pants here so no luck on getting on the water.

You aussie fullas will be pleased (for comp purposes only) to hear that the spot all those naki snapper come from was made a marine reserve (I think today). Bad news is I hear that they may have a few other spots up their sleaves. :D

Hoping to have a kinigie for next comp

nice fish nubee and others

Hey DaveyG - not sure whats happened there. last time I looked the pics were there, now they're gone :?: The same pics are still on the 'Seacliff Snook' report so feel free to copy them in if you want. I'm not able to access the original files for a week or so now.

Some cracking good fish entered. Congrats to the Nubee again with some honking great snapper, and well done to the SA gents who also get to paddle around on a bay of champagne floating and gloating for the next month. Now to work on next months point scoring scam.... :D
