Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.

Welcome to the forum mate. I am sure that a few slow and leisurely paddles will help the shoulder no end. I have a neighbour down here with a bad back that takes my little lightweight SIK for paddles on calm days and he claims it helps strengthen his back. His physio thought it was a good idea when he consulted her prior to trying it. I am keen to read your reports when the shoulder is sweet and you get serious.

Catch ya Scott
