Welcome... our next outing is actually this weekend to Wivenhoe dam about 1.5hr drive from the Coast... some of the guys are camping whilst others are making a day trip.. More than welcome to join us..

Look elsewhere in Planned Trips for details

Otherwise keep an eye out...Im always keen for a fish on the Gold Coast but unfortunately constraint to weekends only.

Safa good to see you mate and you are very welcome at Wivenhoe look to be roughly 10 blokes coming up, so a good chance to meet a few.

Therewill be akffers there from mid morning Saturday through to Sunday late [I'm staying Sun night as well, and driving to the GC Mon am]

Being freshwater bass is the main target, and beside myself, there are other freshwater virgins trying to get their first one; a fishing permit is required and can be bought at the dam.

The following link will give you the detail we researched in planning this weekends outing http://tinyurl.com/luoms

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.
