Hi Everyone, I've been browsing through the forum and doing alot of research on fishing kayaks for a couple of weeks, (This forum has been the best help by far.) as i am yakless at the moment. But hope to pick myself up a yak in about 5 or 6 weeks. I Am looking towards getting a Perception Swing.

I had done alot of sportfishing as a kid with my Father and Brother, but been landbased, for the last 8 years. I've been keen on getting a kayak for the last 12 months (and Finely going to do it).

Anyway, I am looking foward to getting my kayak and hope to meet some of you on the water in the near future.

Welcome stevo, akff is a great place for gaining info is'nt it. I decided on getting a prowler 15 and i got it like 2 weeks ago. This place helped me make my decision and i am very thankfull for that. Where bouts on sunny coast you from? Hope to see some trip reports once you get your yak.

I'm from the Maroochydore Area. But i will be fishing noosa FOR SURE. I'm test paddling a prowler 15 in 2 weeks, so we will see how it goes.

I hope i will be giving some trip reports soon.
