Fishing form a kayak is a whole new thing for me, so excuse the dumb questions I may ask.
I have just purchased a Vicking Tempo 1. Its first outing is this Saturday and look forward to the sucess as I have seen in some of the pics on this site.
Hi taurage and welcome. That is a mighty kayak you`ve got there. The Tempo`s are very popular with fishos on the forum and there are a great bunch from South Oz here too. Good luck on the maiden voyage. Steve.
Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.
Welcom Taurag: Look forward to seeing you on the water. The SA bunch is growing rapidly. We will have to take a page out of the Tassy book and try to get together as a group.
Hope you have a nice tight line today. I had nothing on my first venture in my new yak - but enjoyed the heck out of it.
yes, welcome taurage. Your just up the up from me, SA contingent is growing fast which is good to see. I haven't as yet run into anyone from the forum on the water but there are quite a few living so close that it's bound to happen sooner or later. From all reports the Tempo is a good craft, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. No question is dumb around here, we are all beginners when it comes to kayak fishing unless you're an eskimo. Best of luck on your fishing excursions, have fun and don't be afraid to ask the dumb questions. I also want to hear about your fishing trips.
