my brother is getting into yakking and is using my yak a lot so that leaves me in a position were i have to by a new yak . i think i will go abit bigger this time the espri is great but i will try some thing else this time . a swing or a prowler iam leaning towards a swing hard choice . any advise . tommy

the best advise regardless of manufacture is to put as many yaks on the water as possible to test. This get's rid of the BS factor.

Also, try kayaks other than whats on your hit list..you'll never, never know unless you give them all a go.....

between AKFF members and the various kayak dealers and manufactures you have heaps to choose from....

I could suggest a few.... :) :) :) :)

hi Steve i have tried Hobie and they are a good yak but not for me. hands free kind off but if i wanted that hands free and feet free i would go for the viking fishermen with electric motor and just enjoy the ride . no i like the paddle type. thanks tommy

Tommy, if your still looking, I have a Swing thats probably about to go on the market. I live in Shailer Park, so let me know if you want to arrange a test paddle.
