Welcome Baz.

Recently read some reviews from the US of the Navigator. Seems to be a smaller version of the Pro Fisherman, or vice versa.

Haven't had my PF very long but I'm really getting comfortable on it. It is noisy compared to other yaks, with the water lapping along the flat bits on the sides of the hull. Can also get some major hull slap in peaky waves, but it isn't common in my experience to date.

Good luck

Welcome Bazz,

I have the cobra explorer which is the size down from the Navigator. It is stable & light & works well on rivers & ocean. But it would be no good for a big bloke.

They say the Navigator is a big version of the explorer, & if this is true you should be well served.

Cheers

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership of this web site and the lack of response by the owners to my requests to remove my email address from all administrative-level notifications and functionality, I have decided to remove my posts on AKFF. Thank you for the great times, the fantastic learning experiences and the many many fish. If you are desperate for the old content of this particular post, it is available below base64 encoded and bzip2 compressed.
