Hello fellow yakkers!

Just like to say gday from Canberra, i recently purchased a Hobie Mirage Outfitter with optional fishing pack and was looking for some advice and websites when i was sent the link for this informative website, its a very nice site too!

Lets just say im pushing 30 years old and enjoy fishing alot, the whole idea of kayaking whilst fishing didnt really appeal to me for many years until i saw the mirage system Hobie range hit the market.

Im looking forward to meeting Canberra members and on the whole contributing and gathering information from this website, along with http://www.fishnet.com.au, ive been fishing my whole life but am pretty n00b when it comes to the yaking scene... please be patient, and nice!

I hope to be yakkin hard with yall, yak yak yak!

PS - I have an addiction to Penn fishing products...

Cheers,

Derek ( Paffoh )

Hi Derek, and welcome aboard..

I can assure you we will all be kind to you, and we all look forward to hearing (and seeing) your fishing exploits.

You will see there is a wealth of knowledge and opinion on this forum, tinged with occasional insult and inuendo. Im sure we all laugh with each other, and not at each other. Its a great forum!

Now go gettem! Cheers Andybear
