G'day all - picked up the new Hobie Quest today - was tempted to nick up to Durras for a quick spin but they(retailers of the yak) were not ready for me so hence a few mods were required and I needed to be back in CBR at a decent time to pick up the tinnies from school. Just as well I left when I did because there was a head-on prang about 15-20kms west of Braidwood on the Kings highway - read goat-track - so a 20km diversion thru the bush on dirt roads was required. Don't mean to preach but take it easy on the roads over the holiday break. Now as for pics - being a lazy sod - as my quest is the same as Mac_Fish's(except for the rear hatch) I have just chosen to link to Sel's thread - hope you don't mind Sel

Congratulations on the new ride mate. Man, I gotta tell ya, the more I look at those quests the more I like them. beautiful boats. I think they deserve to be way more popular with yak fishos than they are at the moment.

Thanks Mick - I was a bit downhearted about departing with the FnD - but it has gone to a good home - work colleague - who is hooked on kayak fishing - will introduce him to the forum. The Quest is a superb piece of kit for a decent price - highly recommended to anyone interested
