Does Nyone have any expirience with these yaks? Besides the length does anyone know the difference between these two yaks?? And are they any good?

I bumped into a guy on the water at Elimbah Creek near Toorbul who had a Native watercraft mariner 12.5. He said it was a fantastic yak - good even in shallow water as the propeller unit kicks up out of the way. His previous yak was a Hobie with a Mirage drive which he said needed too much maintenance, and he said that the mariner was better made.

It certainly looked like a great yak to me, but my main kayaking is done in shallow creeks, so a heavy complicated yak is not for me.

Hope this helps.

have seen both of them on the water and seemed OK

Helped lift an M12.5 from the water [the first I had seen] and they are a bit heavier than some others but that included all his fishing tackle as well, but the owner said he was totally happy with it after a few months use and was able to stand up if inclined.

Although often rubbished by some pedallers, I did like the drives ability to reverse after seeing him fish a snag in wind and current and remain almost stationary.
Ok that sounds really good but does anyone know the difference between the marina 10 and 12.5??

Length and weight.
You can also add price to Bretto's comment.
