I have been inspired by several members on this site to try my hand at making my own wooden SOT. It had to have style, but still be functional and simple in design. An electric, I felt, was a must have as well as excellent back support. What do you guys think?

Welcome.... I will speak to the moderators, and see if you can be elected as the principal marine engineer for the site.
Your craft is aesthetically pleasing, functional, confortable, and obviously designed with great economy of resources. I would suggest a little bungee cord to hold the banjo in place, and an aligator shield, but apart from that... a top craft. What do you reckon Russ?)

they say the higher the seating position, the higher the centre of gravity and the less stable the vessel, but this could well be the exception to the rule. looks untippable and you could probably turn it on a ten cent peice...
