I'm planning to go along, the drawcard being 20% off all soft plastics and Rapala lures. There are usually other 'crazy' bargains to be had. It's a members only thing though, so if anyone who isn't a member wants me to look out for something for them, let me know by tomorrow afternoon :wink:

Rob (Poddy Mullet) and Tony (SMURFSMUGGLA) met up with Squidette and I at Anaconda on Friday night to sniff out some bargains......I think Poddy did best on the bargain front, as soon as he walked in the bloke with the microphone started screaming about these $25 rods for $6, before you could blink Poddy was out the door with an armful of them....if you see something on the water that looks like a cross between a kayak and a porcupine you'll know who it is :wink:

Can understand Jason its like a red mist that hits the brain at sale times and sort of defeats the other savings.

The porcupine attributes would be similar up here after the sales with blokes grabbing fistfuls of rods at $1, the shop made a fortune that night despite some crazy discounts...smart marketting
