Well, unlike others, had another fishless morning at Margate. Great to catch up with Ken (kilkenny) and Ash (Polyeurosis) though.
Thanks for braving it blokes, shame about the wind that ripped us up later in the morning.
(For the record Ash caught a couple of Long Tom and a Cod which went back).

It started out as a nice morning with alight breeze.

We headed south from the launch point trolling and flicking SP's and HB's without any succsess. Jake managed to land a 26cm Jellyfish - All I managed was to chop them up in the mirgae drive

We then turned around and headed north past the launch point and found some broken coffee rock. By this stage the wind was building and by the time we beached it was 20 knots. The rocks provide some shelter from the wind and I managed a couple of Alligator Gar (Long Tom) on the trusty Rebel pop-r. Both were around the 70-80cm mark and jumped and tailwalked repeatedly. Only landed one and not such a bad thing to release these ones away from the yak with teeth like these.

On the way back to the launch site caught and released a small cod.

Great to fish a new spot with a few other AKFFers.
