Hi guys,
I caught up with Mike, (somethingfishy) at lenthall's on Saturday morning.
He and his lovely lady Tama drove up from the Sunshine Coast on Friday night and camped there.
When I got there, Mike was allready out and he paddled back to say g'day and after a short chat (he had allready caught and released two bass so things were looking pretty good. - off we went.
I was trolling my beloved SX 40 colour 301 and an attack minnow. We paddled several ks up one of the arms for very little. Me, two little bass at about 20cm and one at about 25cm and Mike was having no luck at all.
On the return trip I picked up another little bass at about 25cm on a SX 40 - Bluegill and that was about it. while heading back, we ran into a mate in a tinny (Island Man) and a former bass guide. A short chat later we headed back to base. all up for the day ( for me zip)
When I got back to camp, Tama was waiting with fresh cooked bacon, eggs, & mushrooms
Bloody beauty
what a Woman!!!
Mike, Where do ya find em like that?
Anyway, I made the decision to go home get my swag & stuff and come back for the Arvo Session. & camp there overnight. When I got home, this was not to be. Sorry Mike. Will definately be better organised in future. Hope you got some good fish last night mate.
