Where can a bloke take three little boy's for a light fish around Rosebud. Landbased only, as I will be in your wonderful city for a week arriving the day after the cup. No Kayak this trip as my wife refuses to lay on the roof racks all the way to Melbourne 8) well think of the possible stone chips on Tugboat

Hi Russ, glad to hear you're coming down our way

Rosebud has a pretty good pier - flathead, possibly snapper, garfish and squid are all worth chasing here. Easy access and safe fishing, but it does get a bit busy on weekends. There are numerous other good piers along this stretch of Port Philip Bay - Sorrento, Blairgowrie, Rye and Portsea to name a few.

Depending on the weather and your availability, I might be able to tee up a yak for you to use if you'd like to be an honorary mango for a day :wink:
