Hello Everyone,
As some of you are aware, i've recently moved up to Wyee Point and im yet to get a Yak.

I was just wondering if any of you know of any spots accessible from land around Lake Mac.

I've thrown some plastics around the pipes which is nice and close to home and i get some good results.

Also if anyone wants to go for a fish feel free to msg me.

thanks :)

Try working the Swansea Channel Driftr. I've taken flatties and whiting there. In some parts my fish finder has almost melted down (admittadly in parts really only accessible from the yak). Supposed to be Kingies and other things under the swansea bridge but I have never had any luck there...just lost a small fortune in tackle due to the bottom structure. Talk to the very helpful guys at Mark's Point Tackle World...but a word of warning...don't take any money/credit cards in there unless you want to come out without it  . They have a lot of great stuff.

I will be up that way new years and after. We should catch up for a fish and you can put the Outback through it's paces.

Gday driftr,

I am up that way a bit, if you want to hit the lake let me know. The bay in front of you is meant to hold some good flatties.
Be warey of the channel until you get some fitness up the current runs pretty fast through there.

Cheers Dave

The pipes are calling. Some of the best fishing I have done is on my yak on the other side of those pipes.

Lets do it. I've ben working in the USA for the past few weeks and my yak hasnt seen water for far too long.

Thanks Yak. I've been alive it's just I don’t get much computer time any more. I check the site at least once a week but most of the witty responses to posts have already been taken so I don’t post much anymore

Welcome back Greg. Was thinking just the other day that it has been a long time since we have seen you surface. Was even wondering if you had sold the yak and taken up the racier passtime of shore fishing or morris dancing or something :roll
